Delete your account
Your MarMaids Staff account is created by MarMaids for your work. You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time, even while you still work with us.
How to request deletion
- Email support@marmaids.com from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Delete my MarMaids Staff account”, and include your full name.
- We reply to confirm it's you, usually within 3 business days.
- We delete your account within 30 days and email you when it's done.
You can also open the app and go to Profile → Request account deletion, or ask your MarMaids manager.
What we delete
- Your app login (email and password) and every signed-in session.
- Your push-notification registrations.
- Your personal contact details that we no longer need.
- On request, the chat messages and photos you posted.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payroll and tax records (pay, hours, jobs worked): kept as long as tax and employment laws require, then deleted.
- Business records about client properties (completed service calls, cleaning history and work photos): kept as long as needed to serve our clients, with your name removed where possible.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can delete your own chat messages and photos in the app at any time. For anything else, email support@marmaids.com and tell us what you want removed.
